About the LGBThq and the support it provide.
LGBThq (opeated by Sticky Bits CIC) is an unbrella term for the centre and the individual charities, groups, projects and other organisations it houses.
It's here to support the LGBT+ community, their family, and friends. If you need information, advice, someone to talk to, or to chill and relax over coffee, we offer all this. The centre is being re-developed and we need your input to make sure we get our services right for the Leabian, Gay, Bi, Trans, Intersex, Queer and the wide community of Cumbria and surrounding areas.
At present we house the following organisations, groups and services: PiNC LGBT+ Youth (Pride In North Cumbria), Cumbria LGBT Pride, Free Counselling, 3rd Party Hate Crime Reporting Centre, Anti-Bullying Campaign, social & support groups, LBGT+ outreach & consultation, fundraising events and much more.

Hate Crime Reporting Centre
As part of our counselling service, we act as a 3rd party hate crime reporting centre, which has close contact with the local police. To report an incident in a confortable and accepting environment, simply go to the centre and ask for Pam.
There are always volunteering opportunities available, please contact the relevant organisation to let them know a little bit about yourself and to find out what they currently need help with.
Sticky Bits CIC funds the LGBThq by hiring the space to it's resident and guest charities, groups and other organisations. The building offers a large community room, conference room, 2 hot desk offices, counselling room and an activity studio; available from £15 per hour, with significant reductions for longer term hires.
We're at 21 Victoria Place in Carlisle, between The Lanes and Carlisle College.
